Looks like I missed the chicken train. I have 2 silkie roosters that need new homes. I have some Muscovy ducks that need new homes. Oh well.

I checked on my silkie and her eggs. No luck for her this time. They were all duds. She isn't happy.  I am also waiting on my ducks to have some babies soon. I will not mess with them and their eggs. They are crazy lol

I hope everyone is getting all the chickens and other critters they are looking for this year.

I noticed the ticks are out already. Please make sure to check your pets, children and yourselves when coming inside.

Thanks, I go back for another ultasound on Thursday for my thyroid.

You gotta watch out for those Ricks.
 
Those Ricks are awful! I had one climbing down my hands last week. I never had one bite me thankfully. I'm always cold so I'm guessing that my skin doesn't attract them. They've been on both my kids arms my husband's in the past though. Horrible little buggers!

It's pretty strong but I put straps in an x to hold the tin down on the chicken pen holding up so far it's usually off by now when it's windy and not even this windy but a rock even flew off it was a pretty heavy rock to and blew the tin clean off the pen the rocks logs concrete blocks and all with it the last time it was really windy like this hard anyway and one of the rocks flew off the pen landed on the roof of the coop and smashed it and the coop ad the coop hasn't been built for at the most four months and it looks like trash I might take that peice of tin off and replace it but we will see the wind seems to be picking up so I am surprised the chicken coop is still standing and hopfully it stays standing of
R the chickens will have to sleep in the garage
