Cool pictures.... I know how far a hen can sling dirt when in the dusting mood, I can only imagine it wouldn't be a good idea to be anywhere near a turkey who is dusting! :gig

I don't think my dad knew how many he got him self into he is the one who told me to go and get some from tractor supply but we still have a turkey hen and now the eggs I have been using from my turkey hen I thought they wouldn't be fertile but turns out hey are so they have been under my hen I have been trying to get to go broody to hatch me some silkies for me to show but now the turkey eggs are forming so now I am going to have turkey baby's running around plus there is a wild turkey hen all by her self so I think she has a nest hid somwhere going o hatch some eggs her self

Is very very loose dirt that we had delivered so it didn't tame much effort for them to dig it up.

Oh they can really flung it pretty good! They have those longer wing feathers and can really flip it all over the place but with them, the best part is when they're done, walk away, stop, and shake it all out. Imagine pigpen from Peanuts lol.

Speaking of creepy crawlies, everyone ready for the big Secada year? I know I'm counting on my flock to eat them up! We're finally expecting a decent crop in our garden this year because of the raised boxes were putting in and we're going to have to deal with these bugs!

I hope chickens eat them! But I know ours won't touch stink bugs....so not holding my breath.
