Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Excited to see what the week holds. Our CCL and Marans are developing very red wattles and combs and a few CCL have started the 'submissive squat' when we bring them into the coop for the night. They're 17-18 weeks old, which seems a little early? More eggs soon?!

After lurking about for a few years, we finally have our own flock. I'm excited to get to know some of my fellow PA'ers.

Maybe!

We have a guest at our house tonight. Found this little girl along the side of the road, not far from our house. She's emaciated and dehydrated, poor thing. She smelled like something down and had poop all over her butt and legs and ticks all around her eyes. Gave her a quick bath and I'm going to pick up a bottle at the dollar store tonight and some goat milk. Calling wildlife rescue in the morning. For now, working on getting her hydrated.
