I've got a maran that has gone broody but I don't have a rooster, does anyone have some fertile eggs near me? Looking for barred rocks, ophington, SLW, astralorp or anything but barnyard mix.

I am a bit too far to help, but I do know of a breeder of multiple breeds in your general area.... HorstmanPoultry.com is his website I think.
And I know of a breeder of BR not too far East of you, send me a PM if you want his contact info, since he doesn't have a website or advertise I don't want to post his info.

Edit to correct location of BR breeder, he is East of you, not West...

Not sure how far you are from me but if fisherlady is too far than I probably am (Altoona/Ebensburg). I have CCL eggs right now.

Does anyone have a 14 foot cheap flat bottom boat it somewhat good shape at least. The person I want the new coop off of what's a 14 foot flat bottom boat for trade, or I have to pay the 400 dollars I'm a kid I don't have 400. Right now I am feeding 20 chickens 4 turkeys and a medium sized dog. My parents don't pay for any of it and I don't want them to pay for any of it. And if I let them buy my dogs food it would be the cheapest food it's either blue buffalo or nothing because I want the best food for my animals. We don't get allowance around here.

I'm impressed that you even found a coop for that much. We are about to build something from scratch. I wish I could offer some boat advice but its not really my area of expertise.

---I just saw that you are from McVeytown...We are in Southern Huntingdon County (Three Springs). My husband grew up between Mount Union and McVeytown. As a kid, he lived in the stone house at the end of Ferguson Valley Rd. The one that you can sort of see through the trees from the highway. I think the people who own it now do or did keep some llamas. ----I just thought that was interesting!

I like that old stone house that has that peice of wood at the roof peak facing e road were it says the year it was built I know it is 1800 something. I think I am just going to skip the shed and my pap has a bunch of old pallets with the sheet of plywood on them that they used to build my sisters horse barn with, and just make it as big as I want. But idk or if I can find an old camper fix it up all nice and make a coop out of that or a shipping container, or an old school bus but this is to hard.
