Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I have a question on making my chicken coop. They are to have lots of ventilation. ... but what about keeping warm in winter? How do you do that with adequate ventilation? And yes I am VERY new to this! But enjoying my couple ducks n chickens.

LMF:

Don't worry about warm if your chooks are winter hardy....I usually don't close the coop doors unless its bitter cold or a storm....

A bit off topic, but How's the fishing? (my other hobby)
The fishing was decent, but I've had better days. We were after panfish and bass. Most of the bass were in the 12"- 13 3/4" class There was 1 that was 14 1/4". 14" is the minimum limit for a keeper if you desire to do so.

Is the one in the middle a rooster or hen?? 23 weeks old, no eggs, no crowing. Got me tricked!
It looks like the only pullet in the trio is the one on the left.

I had 9 Silkies and 8 were boys (see above) Tiny was my only pullet. That middle one and one on the right look to be boys... But you can get more Silkie specific answers on the 'Silkie thread' and 'silkie sexing' thread, if needed. :)
