So our young Roo's are starting to get a bit frisky with our girls, grabbing them by the back of the neck to mate with them, and the girls of course screaming loudly.
Last night one of the Roo's grabbed ahold of Charlotte, everyones favorite hen, of course while the kids (9,7,3) were watching. They started screaming, louder than the hen, and ran to me, the littlest one yells, "Mommy, the bad silkie is trying to eat charlick" by which time Charlotte was already free and seemingly unphased.
Are these roos ever going to learn any tact or will they always make the hens scream bloody murder??? Although the hens carry on no one ever appears injured
