Not sure what hatching mood I'll be in next year, right now I'm trying to concentrate on my KO Shamo.

I have 2 silkies, one goes broody every six months and is an excellent mother. The other one has never gone broody and stays with the other girls. I gave the momma's babies away the first time at 6 weeks, she was very upset with me and moped around until she went broody again.​
The problem with the broody one is she spends so much time sitting and raising her hatch she has lost her place in the pecking order, she used to me top hen now I have to be very careful about letting her in with the rest of the girls.

Thanks! I will be in touch. Can't wait. I loved your girls I got from Rose a couple years ago. They were excellent layers, beautiful, and went broody often.
 
Annintheburbs.. i have polish,rir,california white, gamefowl,EE, americauna, cochin, speckled sussex, maran, crosses, jersey giant, astrolorpe, and a few unknowns from a suprise box.. havent figured them out yet.
