Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Time to hunker down for the cold. Calling for wind chills of -18 tomorrow and 2-4 inches of snow. Kids are already on a 2 hour delay.

Yes I agree its going to be tough,,,,maybe you want to send me some of your chooks for safe keeping......lol.....

I have already moved more firewood inside and laid in a good supply vodka...our big chill is supposed to be late Thursday into Friday...may need to lock my girls down when it hits....too early in the season for this....

Maybe we should all write to the seller

Must be why they posted such a pathetic pic of the bird

BRRRRRRR stay safe everyone!

One of my bantam cochins didn't make it back to her coop this evening. I've looked all over and can't find her. Why did she pick one of the coldest nights to try to stay out? I'm praying she's hiding broody somewhere, hoping that a predator didn't get her.

turn a radio on a make some noise,,,,,will chase off the bad guys til you can find her .....my two cents.....

Same here, birds are staying in either the coop or enclosed portions of the runs, only 9° here....
We have to go out though, one of my Brother-in-Laws passed away and we will be spending today and tomorrow at the funeral home

Thank you all for your condolences, he was DH's older brother, his heart health had been poor for a long time so it wasn't totally unexpected, but still a sudden event at his home. Thankfully it was very quick. He has a large family, so a lot of support.
