That's a great idea! I've never seen that before.oh Florida! how fun, I hope you enjoy your trip. it also looks like you could put a poop hammock in to help clean since coops look fairly big! here is an image JUST IN CASE you havent seen themThanks Sally! Both girls took some time off and the color is definitely darker! Today was my coop cleaning day. I try to clean it every week or at least mix it up some and strip it out two weeks. May try sand in the spring after I come back from florida.Pretty eggs and WOW such cleanliness!Berks County here Welcome to BYC! oh I thought you were!! doh, I didnt read that in the regulations! I get it by the bag and nothing ever mentioned or even looked at feed storage lol That makes absolutely NO sense to me!

I concur! You're in the middle. I nominate you. That thing is incredible! Someone in the middle of the state could get that and incubate all the eggs for everyone lol
Haha! Sounds like you have good system there, I can't even get my husband to feed and water my chickens if I go away for a couple of days.I didn't give him anything and I even made him drive the hour and a half to get it AND it has a permanent spot in the living room lol. BUT the only place that big one would fit is in the garage and I can't even joke about taking up space in his garage lol. I'm lucky to get a corner for my stackable brooders that he's going to build.Cabinet bater, big cabinet bator...same thing, you sold him once, just double what you gave him to get the last one!![]()
Don't say that, you'll have us there in no time!OK, you guys get it here and help me build a shed for it lol
It worries me a little that when I saw this I started to wonder where it might fit: http://allentown.craigslist.org/grd/5939877770.html
Coop is actually not too big. 15 birds is the max and I feel like it's too many. That's y I add that extra bar. There will 10 on the right side and three on the left. If the other two would get up there the meanies would peek their feet till they got off. It's partially y we built our run since I felt it was too tiny inside for inclement weather.
I concur!![]()

My broody is doing such a good job. I lifted her up tonight to see if she had any extra eggs, she had one. But wow!. That girl has picked her chest clean! I was surprised to pick her up and find this naked pink chest! She must have been planning this for a while. Can't wait to candle in a few days! She's gonna bite my fingers off. Lol![]()

My would feed them for me occasionally but I don't let him lol. He used to do it randomly to surprise me and help me out but it's gotten too complicated for him to follow with seperate pens and brooders ect ect...
And hey, what fun would it be to get everyone together to build a big incubator/brooder house lol
I'm so glad she's doing good but don't lose your fingers! Ana is being a wonderful mama (like always) She's so happy to have a baby to care for now. She's only been sitting for 3 months lol.
I am lucky, DH usually does the daily feeding and watering...I do cleaning and general maintenance. My work schedule is 24hr shifts though. So we wouldn't have the birds if he didn't do what he does.
Glad Ana is enjoying her mothering duties, she should be ready to do her next sitting around Easter if her habit continues.
oy, most likely lol. At least I'll have some pure eggs to give her then.
I would be happy to give you a dozen pencil eggs for her!
