Major photo bomb!

The meaties in the tractor

The flock just hanging under the pines. This is their favorite area?

They all look great! I really love those AC! Will have to get some soon.

Do you think you could make a turkey saddle? My Tom has been trying to mate with Notch for a few days, feathers everywhere. Today I heard her scream a little bit when he was trying it, and now I see a little blood on her shoulders. Will have to blu kote her today. Wish me luck! I may need a few extra saddles too, some of the girls are starting to look a bit bare.

This posting surprised me:

"30 chickens for sale, they are 2 months old, I don't have time for them anymore especially now since they are growing"

https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/grd/6080970525.html

what did you expect to happen when you bought 30 baby chicks????

Good grief. What a shame.

Well there doesn't seem to be any interest in the Brinseas. I'm going to go ahead and post them to all of BYC. I just thought I'd try here first because I didn't really want to ship them long distances.

I know they are good incubators, but I would like to hatch larger amounts of chicks. I'm sure you will have no trouble selling it on Pennswoods or Craigslist.

Thank you!

I'm sure I could make a turkey saddle. I need to pick up more denim first though.

Sunshine and Lollipop got their first playtime in the water this morning. They were a bit confused for a second when I put them in but they figured it out pretty quick and splashed like little nuts lol. Good thing we're putting in a small pond this year lol

I seriously can't catch a break. Im am litteraly half way of a 13 hour trip so basically too far away for help and my alternator took a crap. Omg I'd rather be home playing with my chicks and Ducklings!!!

Major photo bomb! The meaties in the tractor They're looking good and spend a lot of time playing and running around in there. The garlic is coming in great! Still waiting on bees to show up The silkies and showgirls have been loving being outside. They just moved out about 2 weeks ago but just started free ranging the other day. Eve and Romeo (and Princess's butt) gotta love Eve! Here's young CCL boy that just took over fpr his dad. Hopefully he'll produce even better babies than his dad. He's not as filled out yet though. His Daddy Onyx, AC Ebony, doing what she does best Cosmo and Cocoa, always together The flock just hanging under the pines. This is their favorite area AND... the new goslings, Sunshine and Lollipop Lollipop Sunshine
You have no idea how jealous I am! I'm hopefully getting an AC this summer if the lady I got EEs from has enough to sell. And your Muscovies are great. I really wanted an all brown from the batch I'm not getting! And newbie question bught what breed are the crele roosters again?
I'd put up a CL or Pennswoods ad now for $10 each and repost it every week or so until you get them sold. The people that buy them first get more to pick from, even though they are younger that for your later customers.
Thanks I'll do that! Hubby and I are thinking about maybe selling chicks/ducklings for a hobby when are kids get older. By the time were 40 they'll be 19 and 21 so we'll have some time to fill lol. But this will be my first go at it.
We sell our eggs $2 a dozen and we don't wash ours. I've read that washing the eggs destroys the protective film and introduces bacteria into the egg. We only sell the ones that are clean with no poop on the egg. We eat the ones that are dirty. Just crack the egg and it's fine, poop doesn't get in the food. I can't believe you get 100+ eggs a day. Is your chicken farm a full-time job?! We are sadly limited to how many we can have so I have no idea what it's like to have more, but I do dream! Wow you have a lot! I would love to have 2 RIR chicks for my one RIR girl who is lonely. Also 2 Barred rocks if you have any. I would have to talk to my hubby. It sounds like your hubby gave up trying to tell you no! haha
He likes them as much as I do lol. I'll definitely have plenty of RIR but I haven't seen them yet so I need to make sure he's correct lol. I have 1 BR pullet for sure. Have a second one but my daughter might have called dibs I can't remember lol. I also have 2 Black Australorp, 1 dark Cornish, one white laced red Cornish, 1 Delaware, and 1 saipian jungle fowl. Might have 2 of some of them. Haven't decided which few we're keeping. Probably will have extra EEs too. Oh and Bantam silkies. Oh boy I have way to many babies right now....

I'm sorry about your alternator, I hope the problem can be fixed quickly and not too expensively!

I'm looking for 2 RIR for myself, but mostly looking for 2 barred rocks for my hubby. He can't say no to the barred rocks! I'm going to visit a neighbor in June if she has any for sale for Hubby's birthday. But if you do have 2 barred rocks for sale sometime, please let me know!

I still can't quite figure out this site. I don't want to reply, I have a question. I'm from Shippensburg, Pa. Are there any Bantam lovers around here? Really would like to "talk" with someone local.
Much appreciated.
You have some really awesome looking birds BTW yoopergirl...
