Ropo, I'm down in Carlisle about 2 hours south and east of you.
You could always hatch some white Langshans...
missy, if you'd like. You are more than welcome to borrow one of these incubators for the time being. I've got a still-air and a forced air. I really like my still air though...so the forced air is up for borrowing if you'd like? I've got a turner as well, or you're more than welcome to turn by hand.
Lord knows I won't need them at the moment.
Okay, I need help~can you tell me what you think about this egg?? Thanks guys!
Yep. That's a dud. Go ahead and get rid of it.
Thank You!! I thought so, but wanted "Professionals opinions!" LOL!!
This is what my 13 year old son asked for for Christmas, lol. For real. Dad said maybe in the spring. The chickens have brought out the farmer in him, he wants goats, turkeys, the list went on and on!
Ropo, I think I'll take you up on that...and yes please on the egg turner...Fiancee said I could! YAY!
Ok...now how do I tell if they're fertile before I set?
I'll spare you the picture, but baby was dead. So sad to see it's tiny feet all formed and it's huge cute baby eyes.....*sigh I'm so sad. Thank goodness B was in bed.
if you have enough eggs if you break about ten or so open and count how many out of ten are fertile, you should be able to get the average fertility rate
