Hi, PA BYC! I'm pretty certain that I'm the furthest north eastern in Ohio you can get without going into the lake or into Pennsylvania. I am so close to Erie, PA that I commuted there to college every day! Hope I'm welcome here, as I spend quite a bit of time in PA.

I know this is not about chickens or ducks or turkeys but I got a new boy today his born yesterday morning. His mom could not handle 3 babies so I'm bottle feeding him.

When they can't care for all 3 can't they stay with mama anyway and you bottlefeed whoever seems to want at any particular time? Or is there a particular reason it needs separated?

I got him from a friend and she does not have time to bottle feed.

It is better to have bittle babies not with their mom in case you mix the milk from other moms because they can start pushing the bottle baby around and could hurt them.

Hi, I'm near Erie PA. I have 19 chickens but will be downsizing. Any interest in wyandotte pullets? Or year-old laying hens?

We have a camp at Pine Lane, on the road that runs parallel along the erie lake shore. We fish Lake Erie all summer.
My understanding is that there are a lot if campgrounds around pymatuning and the other lakes east of it. You may be able to do a search through Goodalls or the Good Sam camping club to see what else is around, depending on your preferred activities.
