We have a camp at Pine Lane, on the road that runs parallel along the erie lake shore. We fish Lake Erie all summer.
My understanding is that there are a lot if campgrounds around pymatuning and the other lakes east of it. You may be able to do a search through Goodalls or the Good Sam camping club to see what else is around, depending on your preferred activities.
.
Id be interested in both!
I cant have any more roo, unfortunately. But the ladies...No way! That was my grandmother's camp. She stopped going about 10 years ago. I missed that camp. How is it now? I would love to take my kids there this year!
Let me know! I have 2 golden laced wyandotte pullets, and 2 1-yr old hens that are laying daily. Rhode Island Red and Buff Orpington mix. Also a RIR/EE rooster if you want him. View attachment 1379689 View attachment 1379690 View attachment 1379691 View attachment 1379692

The campground just got a new owner this year, so don't know if he will be changing anything. So far he has been updating water systems and bringing infrastructure up to date. Still nothing fancy there, it is clean, neat, pool and pond still there, along with a basketball (half) court. As far as I know there are still tent and transient sites being offered. Majority of sites are occupied with the seasonal fishermen. Not much partying after dark since we all get up to go fishing by about 0400...

Let me know if/when you would like them![]()
Didn't intend to attach a photo but w e w look at my birb. How much do you want for them? Would they be compatible with my indoor coop? I have my birds housed in a coop in my basement with outdoor time during the day. They are still too little for me to be comfortable leaving them outside. I'm also a bird cuddler...

Talked to SO. He says no more chickens until I get my poo together (dealing with personal medical expenses, I had a root canal today and he took care of "my birds" for me. Don't think he realized quite how much I do when dealing with the babies.) And at this point he's taking care of me, so even though I want them he thinks I need to wait. :'( I'm also really sad but it looks like I might have a chicken who got too close to the heat lamp and got burned. The two young pullets are 2 months old and would fit in with what you have now. I'm not sure about the older hens though, unless you have somewhere to put them outside. They do grow fast! My chickens are all free range. I have a 4 x 8 coop and I was planning on getting a bigger one but that's not going to happen anytime soon. So I'm trying to downsize from 19 chickens to 14 for now. $10 each or $30 for all 4.
