Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Ohhh okay, that makes sense. Sorry!

I'm not sure what direction Patton is in but my mom has family in Erie which I think is like 2 hours from Pittsburgh? And some family in Beaver and my friend lives in Mars. We're in Massachusetts

I live near Erie. Pittsburgh is about 2 hours south of us. I don't know anything about the area but I suggest you try searching neighborhood crime rates; search for houses, schools, etc that you would like to live near. Also, check the township limitations on farm animals. Good luck!

Thanks! Those are good ideas.

Hey, LMP, you going to the festival in Renovo this weekend? Or do you avoid it much like I avoid Little League?
hey..sorry, just got a minute to get on here.
Yes, we are going up town today..daughter, granddaughter & mom going up with me too.
Woke up this morning to rain..:hmm..hoping it won't put too much of a damper on things. It has since stopped, but now everything is going to be/get seriously muddy..
Will do our best to enjoy the festivities anyway.
You coming over?

Over the summer, Aretha Franklin (Muscovy) went broody, followed by a Pekin. Aretha (under cover, but bare ground) hatched a mutt, and it died. Janice Joplin held out until the end, but another bad storm came through, and she was out in the open. She jumped up, shook off, and ran for the coop. She had moved her nest and a few eggs when the old one got flooded (it was a rainy month!). Nothing hatched.
Aretha was determined, so given fresh eggs. No luck, but she finally broke herself.

It’s dry, and under cover.

Good for her! I hope she gets a couple of ducklings to finally satisfy her mommy urges!
