Sorry not 39 I meant 30

well I don't know how many times they can change things & still keep their jobs...mind boggling.
I do realize weather is a crap-shoot, but sometimes..really, what are they looking at?:idunno
Anyway, snow starts tonight, later tonight as it stands now..then we get the real fun.
We have learnt not to put any weight into their "measurements/totals" of accumulations because they just don't know.
Being in the mountains throws it all out the windows. Only a 30 minute drive from here could get 4" & we have a foot!
It happens all the time..higher elevations right here get dumped on & we, being at the bottom of the mountain & in a protective 'cove' like thing don't usually get as much..usually.
We will all know soon enough:pop...
Just trying to make sure the vehicles are were we want them & everything is batten down. Going to make sure the birds are well fed & warm, going to get real cold.
It has been a steady 20* here as of late...15* this-morning.
Gave the girls the "scraps" from the veggie broth I have been putting up.

I like to warm it up a bit to get them going in the morning.:wee
Hope everyone is doing well & keeping warm!!
Stay safe all:hugs

I know what you mean! Basically we could get absolutely nothing or we could get hammered. I have to work tonight so I'm hoping it doesn't get bad until I get home. At least I have 4x4 but still, I'd rather be at home where its nice and warm. Its been quite cold down here too.
Good Luck, hope the weather doesn't get too crazy for ya'll!

I woke early this morning to no heating oil. I had expected it to last several more weeks! Apparently I underestimated how cold it’s been.
In an effort to keep the dog warm, I put pajamas on him. He didn’t appreciate it. :D

It will be tomorrow before I get more oil, and then I have to hope the furnace turns back on. I remember running out a few years ago, and I had to pay someone to get the furnace back on. No idea what he did differently than the other four guys and myself.

Argh, we had this issue a couple weeks ago. We managed to get it going again with some kerosene until the truck could come. Hope it fires right back up for you!
