Vaseline is good for whatever. Mites or a wound. It will heal the skin and/or smother mites.I will have to take a picture tomorrow if I remember to, but one of my chickens has a wound of some sort on her leg. It looks as if some scales fell out, then scabbed over. I was waiting a little while to see if it would re-grow or start looking better but it is the same. I worried it was scaly leg mites, but every picture I see online is an extreme case. If we have scaly leg mites, it's a very minor case, as I'm not sure at all. Any advice? I know it's hard without a pic, so I'll try tomorrow. Thanks!
