Hi everyone! New to BYC I’m Katie, located in Duncansville, PA and I’ve got a flock of 11 chicks (mixed breeds) that are 7 weeks old today. It’s been a fun adventure so far, albeit currently frustrating because I’ve got a stubborn (clueless?) polish that won’t go into the coop to roost with the others and I don’t particularly enjoy having to crawl under the coop at night to scoop her up and put her where she belongs

Welcome from Cambria county! I'm up near Patton but I'm at the livestock swap at tractor supply in Duncansville every month. If you've ever gone, you've probably seen me. If you haven't gone, you need to stop by! It's always the first Saturday of every month, spring through Fall from about 8am-noon or 2, whenever everyone feels like packing it up :)

Small world! My Dad and his whole side of the family are from the Patton area and we’re up there all the time! If you happen to know any of the Holtz’s, Tim’s my dad!) And I haven’t been to the swap, didn’t know it existed actually- sounds fun! I live 5 min from TS :)

Well maybe we'll see you there sometime! It really is a small world isn't it! I don't know any of the Holtz's. My kids probably do from school though. We're Altoona transplants and have lived here almost 6 years. We live up near the Lechene's if you know any of them. It seems most people do lol

Yes, my family is friends with the Lechenes! My cousin Dana owns the Pirates Cove if you ever stop in there for ice cream :p I also lived in Altoona most of my life, just moved to Dville last year.
