Started looking at the cabinet incubators and couldn't justify spending that much. We found a very nice insulated box and decided that it can be an incubator. For the price of 2 cheap ones I think we made a decent one. We have 4 shelves in it and can add another turners. We could probably do just over 300 silkie eggs at a time. We went with rollers this time instead of turners. Rollers like you would have for hotdogs. I am so excited to see how to see how it goes

View attachment 1982693 Baby girl made this nesting box in her high school wood shop class. It kills me to think of putting it in a coop and lettin the bitties poo all over it ☹️

Beautiful! I would seal that puppy with multiple layers of clear sealant so our can be cleaned really easy :)

‘Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the coop
Not a bird was stirring
in either group
The hens were nestled all snug in their bed
While visions of scratch danced in their heads
Yada yada, Chris Kringle and his wonderful wife. I HAVE PENCIL ROCKS! :wee:celebrate:ya:woot:jumpy:yesss::highfive::celebrate:wee:wee
