x2, i still don't have a cell phone, don't want one. if i can't talk on the house phone, then i don't need to talk, IF i need a cell phone(like on the road) i have my husband use his, he has one for work. i'm old and set in my ways, don't like change at all.

I have one because my husband insists I have it for emergencies because I drive in a remote area after dark for work. I get 150 minutes a month which rollover if not used. I now have several thousand minutes because I never use the darn thing.

I love it ....I have hundreds of books on my kindle, researched all about chickens, can access the web, and it's so much smaller in my purse when I go to doctors etc.

Wondering if these two arent from her eggs and were actualy mixed????? The only one Harmony had hatch out of the whites was that one gold laced polish chick... the feathering is very limited compared to the other feather footed ones in there too! I know my friend DOES NOT mix his pens at all, so it must be from her eggs, I lost track of brown eggs cause so many hatched at once!!!
ANOTHERWORDS.... think its a mix polish and dark brahma from her pens???

finally got the "coop" together, going to get some extras for @ a later date..extra-shingles, bins for in the nest box...Question: there was ALOT of "paper"-packing material in w/ the coop, can I shred that up and use it for "bedding" in the bins for nest box? I hate to just throw it away if I can use it for something else...Cycle-Chick..awesome idea w/ the sand, was going to use that in the run, so cool..just need a pooper-scooper!! ...aww-man......my camera is broken

That be one handsome feller aint??? <3 I would say its perfectly fine! you can even compost it then... just dont let it blow around! Sorry about the camera... I swear mine has stock in energizer AND everyready

Sally, Good question!! Apparently the right sand depends on where you are living. River sand and construction sand are the two most recommended. I just told the guy I am ordering from what I was using it for. He explained what he was giving me, and what he WASN'T giving me. A fine mix that turns into cement! Chunky sand is what you want. Slightly chunky anyway.
