Hi all! Sorry I’ve been absent for awhile, having a very rough time of it. My sister just came home after being in the hospital since 2/20 after a car accident. She is minus her right leg and having some difficulties adjusting. Also, my beloved Jersey Giant rooster Hero passed away a few days ago. I love all my birds, but Hero truly was my son, and losing him was a tremendous blow. He was only 2 years old, and I still weep for him every day. I doubt I’ll be able to stop anytime soon.

I’ve collected eggs for a week now, a friend is going to hatch them for me. Desperately praying that Hero left at least one good strong son to replace him, and a few nice girls. Would anyone be interested in a few chicks? Some would be Hero’s, some Danny’s (an Easter Egger). The moms are Brahma, Cochin, Easter Egger, Marans, and Rhode Island Red. If there are any Jersey Giants, I will probably keep them, since they are so rare.

I love you guys and missed you a lot. Praying for better days ahead!

I'm so sorry for your loss It's so hard to lose a favorite. Prayers for your sister's recovery to be smooth and her adjustment to be quick
