I did one bird, only removing breasts, thighs and legs, while Duckling was begging for attention (she was excited to help until she saw the bare neck. I can’t blame her! ). In the end, a few hairs remained on the ankles that I thought would rinse off. While transferring the meat inside, the breasts got the hairs on it. How on earth do I get it off?

The swap was good today. Not too hot, not rainy and good company. I unloaded all but 2 cockerels, sold a chicken tutu and got to play with a baby Emu all day lol. This was Marley, the Emu. She was snuggly and loveable

She is quite a character. She came to hubby thinking he has treats, and accidentally stepped on a duck on her way. The duck was so mad, and pecked and chased her all over the place.
My son was checking his new girls every couple hours, but they are still very scared. The polky girl wouldn’t stop pecking ameraucana girl, who is eating her own feathers. I thought she wants protein, but they wouldn’t eat the mealworms I gave them. I guess they just stressed?
