Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I’m so sorry @feliciadawn. And one of my hatching egg customers is giving back 3 chicks this weekend, more than likely boys. I really wish more people would be reasonable about accepting their neighbors’ chickens. I thank God every day for my neighbors, even though I don’t know them well, because they don’t bother me. Good luck and God be with you.❤️✝️

My neighborhood is far from quiet with big trucks heading toward RT 1 and motorcycles (I know some of the noisiest Harleys are owned by borough workers.) I heard there used to be whole flocks running around the small front yards of some of our impecunious immigrant families. I think the ordinance had more to do with attempting to upscale Kennett Square, than any rooster noise factor. I had to rehome an English Orpington--who was one of the sweetest and most beautiful birds I have ever seen. He went to a huge flock of

Loud pipes save lives. The area from Tyrone to... is it Greensburg? Anyway, there are hidden drives. A few days after a biker told me that his wife won’t ride with him because if he dies, their children will be orphans, he was killed on his quiet motorcycle. A teenage girl was backing out, and didn’t even look before pulling onto the highway and killing him.

That's so sad! He is a such a handsome boy. I'm trying my best to not get a rooster. I know I will be attached to him and hubby will hate him for the cock a doodle doo. Plus most my neightbors are elders, so they wouldn't happy with the early wake up calls. I personally like rooster crowing, but most people cannot stand it. I'm really scared about this coming order from hatchery. With my luck, I could get more than one rooster. Cannot wait to get Dennis's autosexing ameraucanas. Then I don't need to worry about these hatchery birds anymore.

I did have a friend who was killed on his motorcycle and left a widow and 2 kids. I do agree with you... dispute my sunny Sunday riders who I swear just go around my block and gun their engines at the traffic light...over and over again!

"Faithful Friends can help to promote the roosters for re-homing, but I don’t know what will happen by Saturday. That’s not really enough time. The owner should contact Nicole at Faithful Friends right away. No time to waste! They aren’t really equipped to house birds at the shelter, so I think the best they can do is make phone calls and post info on Facebook.
