The list for the new year's hatch a long keeps growing..I am at
13 pekin
11 ancona duck
13 ancona/buff orpington mix chickens
3 blue swedish ducks
2 mallard duck
4 mixed duck
10 iowa blue chicken
5 speckled sussex
10 not sure yet a surprise till monday
12 ?? carton says fertile eggs...(from giants grocery ) brown eggs.
have 5 quail saved so far .



I am gonna need alot of brooder space.

Oh, and there's gonna be the Ameracauna pen as well. (Gonna be my mom's project) Yep, my Mom has her own roo courtesy of Heather lol Never would have pictured my Mom with her own chickens.

Gonna have some bobwhites coming the end of this week. Found a small covey of 7 on the Pa local FB page.

The more I see the different kind of quail I want to see about breeding. And they take up less space than chickens. And within a year we are going to be building an enclosure for pheasants.
