We were out on a back road and stopped to look at a coop. It was full of silkies. That's when we decided that is is indeed silkies we want to get in the spring for showing.dont know where to begin.

My sweet little Shirley wasn't doing well today. I found her all puffed up and a really bad poopy butt. I washed her up and we hung out all afternoon together. I hope she makes it. I am not sure what is going on with her yet.

It was very pasty and I had a heck of a time getting it off of her feathers. Her vent didn't look right to me either. I got pictures of her vent but didn't want to gross everyone out! LOL I couldn't find your picture of your girl.
