Do you ferment feed???

and NON MEDICATED chick starter or should I buy something else

I use gamebird starter, which is non medicated. Ducklings need more protein than chicks. I've never taken the time to learn about fermented feed, and I have a lot of birds, so I'd expect fermenting their feed would become a big time suck.
