Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Can someone explain how the egg swaps work? I currently don't have eggs to swap but will a little later. You claim what some one is offering and then offer what you have, to everyone? And how does a swap with paypal work? Any help would be great. Thanks
Egg swaps run as you have mentioned. If you see something in the current offer you want you can claim it & make your own offer. Someone else then claims your offer. The person sending pays for shipping. Some of the chains allow paypal to be offered by those who want what is offered but do not have an appropriate item to offer in return. Each chain is run differently & has different rules & guidelines. Check the 1st post on each chain to make sure of the rules for that chain.

Is that all, i have been accident prone my whole life,,,momma says it's because I WAS an accident..
I have 2 children that were unplanned, however, they are both well aware they weren't the "accident" their sperm donor was. NO CHILD is ever an accident. All children are a gift from God. Just not every parent deserves that gift.

CONGRATS!!!! That babies name should be Miracle!!

:cd will finally be getting (a couple),of my feathered girls!!!... The 26th... It's only been a year, I've been asking (sometimes) rather dumb questions and trying to learn as much as one can w/out the actual experience. Thank you sooo much everyone and their advice!! I know there will be more questions!!! Once the girls and I get "settled in", will be working on getting the second-half of the CPT certification!!

The propane brooders are meant to heat a large floor area at once. The birds can move closer or further away as needed. These are probably from commercial broiler or turkey barns where they have 1000's of chicks that are the same age. Too much for most of us, but not for Sally, or Wingstone or SilkieSensation, said the pot about the kettle.

The Plasson waterers are meant to be hooked up to a low pressure hose system. They automatically refill as needed. I have about a dozen of them and will be setting them up soon so I can quit messing with water buckets. They're another item used in commercial poultry barns.

Actually, I only hatch 5-30 babies per batch so mine are really spread out on age. I have 9 brooders/cages I use for babies depending on age & whether they need heat or not. Then they get dumped outside to the grow-out pen.

I'm wanting to do a gravity fed auto waterer system later this summer, but I'd still have to fill the 55 gal drums daily.Guess filling 2-3 drums is better than individually filling 20-30 bowls & buckets at least.

Sadly I am the owener of a pekin named miracle.. So this one has to be something diffrent hmmmmm.
Ummmm...how about Enigma
