Hey Pennsylvania!

Hubs and I are considering buying a house in Glen Rock, PA. We're moving from just under the border in Maryland. I can't find any answers as to if I can keep my chickens in Glen Rock. We found a wonderful house that will sit on about a third of an acre, but it will be a deal breaker if I have to leave my girls behind. Does anyone know? Apparently the township office is only open for 3 hours today, from noon to 3.

Go online and see if there is a township map. See what the area where the house is located is zoned as. If that doesn't help send then an email and hopefully someone will get back to you. Good Luck.

Yep... and what about your real estate agent??? It is there job to know where to get that type of information for any property they are selling.

I think it's too late to enter anything in the 'show' for judging... but don't know how they organize the other 'sale/swap' area.
The website has contact info for them.

Looks like a good time, though it's going to be chilly!

 i shouldn't say this, most of you allready think I am nuts....but hubby swears that if you pee around the perimeter of the garden, then the rabbits will stay out.....I think he is just to lazy to go any farther..

I haven't done hair clippings, but peeing around the garden? Of course! Doesn't everyone?

Cinder block. My coop is a cinder block garage. Don't have to worry about anything digging under, or eating through.



On a sad note...I lost 2 of my Iowa Blue chicks yesterday/this morning. Seems the big ones squished them to death...so I cleaned out the brooder and split the ducklings/2 week olds away from the 1 week old buff orpingtons, lone iowa blue and the 2 silver grey dorkings.

aww, such a bummer.

I Sooooo agree! I am beat after 76 hrs in 5 days I was about a zombie when I got home this morning.... and of course I spent 2 hrs just messing around in and out of the coop. I have a couple of hens acting like they are thinking of going broody

so was trying to figure if they may get serious or not.

I should have been sleeping! But did nap an hour or so this afternoon. And I am off for next two days!!!
