It's been nothing short of an exhausting weekend! Had a pretty awesome 16th birthday party yesterday (Driving soon, so stay off the sidewalks and sides of the road people), and lots of work to be done today! (Er, I think I left the smores stuff outside.....oopsies) Sorry I haven't done much more then lurking as of late!

My birthday present comes in the mail on the 29th

Thanks everyone. I am pretty happy with myself at the moment. I still have a few other things to do before I reach the rest of this weekend's goals. My mom messed things up since she decided to get a horse and everyone in the country side is now on her standby for every whim. Don't tell her I said that in kind of an exasperated tone, okay? The woman acts like she's totally helpless and everyone she knows has to hold her hand for everything. We got roped into helping move the lean-to yesterday, 4 men, 2 women, a rollback, skid steer, a backhoe and 4hrs later... Today she raided my horse stuff. Blankets, halter, lead rope, buckets, tubs, brushes, grain storage, fencer, temp fence posts, insulators... Good thing I don't plan on getting one soon for myself.

Anyone know if I am dealing with an ear infection or ear mites... I have a hen with swollen, crusty, stinky ears. I didn't see any mites, but her one ear is so swollen, I can't even see in it.

Can I use Pen G on a chicken? I have no other antibiotics right now.

OK. So chicken talk, women with hormones (no big surprise there) Since when doesn't anyone here want to form a get together. Got text messages on the butchering. And people always do stuff. I'm sure there was someone new. So HI!

And I'm sure someone hatched something....Congrats!! Does anyone have an emu yet? lol
