They do have it! I was just about to ask. My TSC swore they didn't have it. I found it myself. It is for cows.
My question is, is that the right formula?

Yep, that's it. If you ever need ivermectin it's in the cow meds too.

I have a pair we will be breeding soon so should have some in a couple months.

I DO make trips over that direction sometimes...LOL I keep telling y'all I'll drive up to 2 hours to meet people, especially if you have something I want too.

If it's an even trade I'll even meet half way.

I looked at my TSC twice before finally asking and calling back in. They aren't too bright there at times. At least I could get some last night and now have it on hand. What other items are good to have in a emergency kit?

I'm getting annoyed with my lab today. One, or more, of the ducklings have started quacking. EVERY time she (?) starts Sonya (the lab) runs back the hall, and sits outside of the door whining. It was cute the first 1/2 doz times, now I'm about ready to do this

vitamin/electrolyte powder or Save-a-chick powder- add to water of weak or stressed birds
bandaids-leg hobbles for spradle chicks
vet wrap-spradle leg or injuries
wound pads-clean & pad wounds
peroxide-mix with water to clean wounds
thread or dental floss-tie off umbilicals or yolk sacks of chicks
cornstarch-stops mild bleeding on combs, claws, umbilicals, etc.
triple antibiotic ointment-apply to wounds for 1st 24 hours before blu-kote or anywhere blu-kote can't go (eyes, face)
Crisco (shortening) or vaseline-apply to scaly leg mites

thank you for a the medical tips! I have been using "permethrin". The guy at the store said that is would take care of fleas, mites, ticks ect....just dust the chicks and sprinke some around the coop,,,he also said it would not impact egg production....do you know if I was given good info?

Quote: Permethrin is the active ingredient in Sevin Dust. I believe it works on everything but worms. That's why I use the ivermectin. It does it all in 1 dose & can also be used on dogs & cats. Ivermectin it the active ingredient in Frontline.
