Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

As per Raccoon, I participate in the catch n NOT release program. Those big dark eyes don't fool me for a second!.
Actually, That's the way to go. It is illegal to relocate a trapped raccoon in PA. And from what I hear, if you do release them wiithin a few miles of where you trapped them, they will find their way back.

Definitely going! Taking my blacksmith and his 'wares, as well as some handmade items by my mommies ^^ Can't wait! I'm taking several cat carriers/boxes....(>.>) Just in case.... (<.<) *shifty eyes* (>.>) as a precaution...for everyone else lol

We will be there not selling, but observing and possibly buying a bird or 2, maybe, been watching the posts on FB, some look pricy for just a back yard flock :) but still excited! Sucks its going to rain tomorrow night, may just look into a hotel Vs camping!

We had to put one of the chicks down tonight so now we only have 3 chicks from the 18 eggs we started with. It was the one that hatched and there was some blood, yolk sac didn't totally absorb and the umbilical cord was still attached. It must have pulled the intestines because tonight they were hanging out. The hubby tried to push them back in but he couldn't do it. The chick wasn't doing well so we used the vinegar and baking soda to put it to sleep.

Has anyone gone to the Belle Vernon Tractor Supply swap on the second Sat. of the month? I was wondering if there are a lot of baby chicks and hatching eggs. I was thinking about going this weekend instead of ordering more eggs.

I'm looking for Polish, Frizzles, Marans and Easter Eggers.

Never easy. So sorry.

Hi everyone... Would anyone like a Buff Brahma with an underbite (13 weeks old) from Meyer Hatchery? He's free! Not crowing yet and I think I have to get rid of him before he does.
I'm near Philly but am willing to drive a bit to re-home him. This is my first experience with chickens, I ordered all pullets, so I really don't know much but he seems to be a pretty mellow guy.
I thought I had a home for him but it fell through.
Top pic was taken a few weeks ago, bottom pic about a week ago.

Went down to the feed store today to look at the bantams. Saw some clean-legged ones that looked like they might be golden Sebrights and a mystery white chick. Then they had a whole slew of pearly colored feather-legged bantams that might have had small cheek puffs. I forgot to look at toes, so no help in that department. And no pictures. Anyone have any ideas?

Pearly colored, feather legged, muffs and probably a beard??? Probably a Porcelain D'uccles.
