My Son petting the goats, and the BF, They wanted to take the goats home, again I had to say NO!!! BUNNIES!! EVERYWHERE!! No clue how i did not make it home with one, the Lion head bunnies were sooo cute!! Good thing I am allergic or we would have those!! hehe The BF Really wanted a Goose!! My Reply, What are we going to do with a goose!?!?

Wow looks like a great swap! Wish there was a swap closer to the Poconos, like an hour away. I want a silkie rooster.

There is, it's called Sussex County Poultry Fanciers. It's held twice a year, they just had the spring one, so you'd have to wait for fall. Or join their facebook page, people are constantly posting what they have.

Is this in the Nj sussex county fair grounds? I will look it up on facebook. Thanks missy. I remember going to the sussex county fair grounds with my aunt when I was little, I grew up in Nj, city girl lol. My aunt used to do flea markets, she set up a table at the fair grounds and took me with her. I would go look at all the animals. Never in a million years would have thought I would have chickens.

There is a farm that has 3 goats, I believe 2 mini nubians and a lemancha (sp?). They are NEVER in there field. THis morning they were happily grazing beside a very busy road in the corn field next to there completely over grown field with a large round bale in the middle. I think they like to get out just for the heck of it.... Maybe out a strand of electric at the top and at the bottom? We have a solar charger for our rams now, and they are un happily staying in there field!

ah! gotcha!! very pretty birds!! I saw Lavender Brahams ( A Pair), they had a purple tint to them Very beautiful birds! Said Rare on the label for those as well, If I could have roosters, I may have bought those! But alas.. no Roos for me
