Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Been watching desperate landscapes all day... ( i need background noise while working at home, it is too quiet here during the day with no kids in the house) i want one of those guys to come make my yard look pretty too!! LOL I get good ideas, but never have the time to do anything about it. Oh well, such as life.

1 more 5 to 5, then i finally have time off..

Blarney, pm me info on those goats,,,,also looking for 2 or 3 myotonic goats (spelling)....aka...fainting goats...

Having trouble finding folks that will leave the boys intact,,,,,breeding is not the plan,,,,,It does effect taste of meat though..

...need to do more research on this subject, but apparently after taking those precious jewels from the boys, they put fat and muscle on in different ways..

So there are two local mills by me (both are in NY). Each are hovering at $12/50lb of pellet (16% protein).

I asked about the whole product (as opposed to already in pellet form). The only thing I can get is corn or oats.

Is that normal? (sorry if that's a silly question)

I'm going to head over to the barn now to find out what's in my layer pellet from the pet store which is just under $12/50lb bag.

Geez, everyone near me is $20+/50lb....for 16%.....pellet/crumble.....

I WILL have some of these some day soon. THEY ARE HILARIOUS!!! The lawn mower would back fire and the goats would be on the ground!! lol

See if that was me, I would have hooked up a fence charger to door handle some how. Let them get zapped good a few times and they will stay out!! :) Lol. I'm evil, I know!! :)

Well just so you can kick it up a notch, google "Leyden jar"....it'll take the zap to a whole new level....I know somebody whose building one....

Hey wing pm me if you are still looking I know of two breeders of them.

Quote: will get back to ou tomorrow when I have more time....

anyone with info to add feel free...here is what we are looking for
goats that can be both milk(small quantities) or meat.
small size..I am 5 feet tall, need to be able to handle them...

we have decided upon either the fainters or nigerian...the plan is to get a few of each and see what we like better....i could easily go to auction and find some but I would rather find a breeder to deal with who will understand that we are new to goats and need help with silly questions....also one who will sell culls at reasonable prices since most likely the first batch will end up in the freezer till we decide which direction to go.

I will keep you in mind!! I have the heavy equipment at my disposal... just the fact that the BF is ALWAYS working is a problem as he is the operator, not me. If i got the skid loader that close to the house, we might be looking at a remodel instead of landscaping. And i have already backed the little dump truck in to a wall at the feed mill. LOL
