I would not pay the price but I lke the concept behind it.
Yeah! I like the idea too, and it sound like it's coming with about $600 worth of netting.

that he is, i just sold one very much like him along with his three hens, changing directions with brahma's otherwise i would have kept them
those mini peas i told you about, not worth the trouble, they only got two inches tall, and had two pods at the most. for the space, could have had regular peas and lots of them

Here is the first pip. The 'crack' has gotten a little bigger. It is still 'peeping', a little now, I think it is taking a break. I see the egg move every now and then....Question for anyone: How long "generally" does it take them to fully emerge? I understand alot of factors are involved, just trying to get some sort of 'time-line'. Thank you- Danielle
When you get to the point where you can NOT wait another second…it will be about 12 hours after that. Seriously, you'll watch n watch n watch, and it will hatch when you're in the other room. Or another common occurrence here, is that I'll be so busy staring at that first pip, that another egg will pip, zip and hatch before the first one zips.

York is really far from SE PA.............suburb of philly is where I am at............don't think that would work......

Lisa:

I've found that Harbor Freight has the best prices for tarps....sometimes they have coupons for the smallest size for free.....my pen is 4' 2"x4" wire 50' roll from HD, they also sell metal posts I am lazy and use ties to connect the fence to the posts. I also lined the bottom with landscape ties....

hahaha....Okay, I remember the peas...not worth the trouble! wow...I have added another row of red beets, going to be adding a couple more rows of sugar-snaps and green beans. The weather has been very good for them!!! Also planted pumpkins(wee-be-littles), and watermelon...The tomatoes seedlings are growing strong. The zucchini are doing well and the first-tomatoes are ripening. Should have a couple in a day or two!! SOOO, looking forward to them

. The berry clippings have taken off!! I am going to be extending the cutting garden (daughter is helping)...Realizing I am going to need more room for the berry plants...more on the way in the spring.

, along with the Apple and Cherry trees!! Hope you are doing well!!

i just finished picking and eating the first planting of green beans, now have to wait for the second planting, have lots of green tomato's but none close to being ripe enough to eat, course, could fry some greens

beets, been buying them at the auction, making beet eggs for husband, he loves pickled beets and eggs, me, not so much, like the eggs tho. glad the berries are doing good, i have red raspberries to pick and eat, nice big ones too. next year i will just get regular pea's, the minis were a big disappointment , like i said, waste of space, but live and learn right? right!
been catching coons too, now if i could just learn to like coon meat

would never have to go to the store again, would have everything right here but flour for bread.

hope you have a good hatch

What would cause a chicken to withdraw from the ready of the flock? She is quiet and just off. She is 19 weeks old. She will let me hold her and pet her. She had been doing the squat for a week. Is it typical behavior before egg laying?
