I am going to kick them all out of the boxes, and take them out. If that doesn't work I am going to move them somewhere else to see if that will help. I am really worried about my SLW, LF Cochin, and English Orps in this heat! I know I have to worry about all of them, but they are more subseptable to the heat!19 broodiesand here I am complaining about 9 broodies,,,,,,what are your plans for all of them..![]()
I hate to say it, BUT.........WE TOLD YOU SO.....now next time build twice as big as your plans.![]()
that's a long time for 2 birds to stop laying,,,are you sure they are not laying a tan or brown egg???
I do want an opinion. I am pretty sure I have mentioned this before, but I have 2 EE that began laying back in February (or January) and stopped at the end of April. Not a single egg since. They are happy and look healthy. No mites or anything. The other 2 girls in the pen are laying fine. If I had an egg eater, I think I would have seen at lest one blue egg in all this time. Any thoughts as to why this is happening?
