19 broodies

and here I am complaining about 9 broodies,,,,,,what are your plans for all of them..

I hate to say it, BUT.........WE TOLD YOU SO.....now next time build twice as big as your plans.
that's a long time for 2 birds to stop laying,,,are you sure they are not laying a tan or brown egg???

I am going to kick them all out of the boxes, and take them out. If that doesn't work I am going to move them somewhere else to see if that will help. I am really worried about my SLW, LF Cochin, and English Orps in this heat! I know I have to worry about all of them, but they are more subseptable to the heat!

I do want an opinion. I am pretty sure I have mentioned this before, but I have 2 EE that began laying back in February (or January) and stopped at the end of April. Not a single egg since. They are happy and look healthy. No mites or anything. The other 2 girls in the pen are laying fine. If I had an egg eater, I think I would have seen at lest one blue egg in all this time. Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

What color were the eggs before, when they started to lay? The will wash out over time are you sure that isn't what happened?

Oh my my! Hope I have my act together in time.............I have taken some of the construction projects INDOORS>.....................yup ----------woodworking inside the house due to need for AC!

So what is the "real feel" temp where everyone is - 1 hour ago it was 114 here but it appears to have gone back down to 105

I was considering taking the dog house that I am making inside so I can be cool but i'd just have to clean the mess
