Tina, 39, again?

The house on the other side of the creek from me has a sign advertising free range chicken, maybe you could ask them what the regs are. I don't really know them, so I can't really help. (they also advertise the" healing eggs') I van get their number off their sign if you want.

I started with only wanting 6 hens. Hahaha, have more than that now. Plus guinea fowl and a new flock of turkeys. Watch out, it's a very, very bad disorder lol

Oh no.........I already have some of those symptoms at this time............its a serious case........might be chronic.........

I am consider olive eggers or chocolate egg layers for the spring.............only problem is I might need to build a second coop or a bigger coop...........that's crazy----I just built this one!   in a heat wave no less!       but raising from a chick would be so fun and cute.........never done that an all
and then green and dark brown, and light brown and blue eggs would be a nice assortment..............now why do I need a nice assortment...........I really don't know a good answer to this.........its just like a collectors and nature lovers condition...............hard to explain yet very persistent.............

If I could keep this fun hobby and have it pay for itself..........that would at least make more logical senses......

I have to review some of the rules regarding selling eggs etc.............I don't want trouble..............I have been giving them to family and friends yet once I start getting more eggs I would love to sell them so I can pay for at least the food costs....................the extra décor costs well...........that's just collateral damage!

ROFL! You guys are too funny. I'm so glad to be a part of this thread and website so I can learn (or, ahem, be aware) of all of the "symptoms" of "chickenitis" before I start with my own. I am already planning a bigger (and taller) run than I had originally planned.

Inside feeder for dry food. Holds 50 pounds. Outside I use rubber bowls for food and water, Same as wingstone. I may install a water trough inside this winter. Last year I used a 3 1/2 gallon hanging wateter. I may use it again this winter. The plastic ones aren't too bad to get the ice out.

Morning all! Well I discovered on my drive back from dropping Mr Man at preschool this morning that we do indeed have foxes out here. Nevet saw one till this morning & it looks like the car/truck won the fight!!

It looked pretty big too, so glad my girls are locked up securely at night. It was only about a mile and a half from my place! :/
