Howdy everyone! Ugh this weekend went too quick, but I had to share my new eggs, I just started to get a deep olive colored egg, from my FBCM, ugh... and I have another thats dark brown with spots. Not the color eggs I wanted but they are cool anyway.
I like all your egg colors............what is the light brown or pinkish egg coming from? I love the green and the darker brown.......nice variety!

Not cold or cough. He's been having stomach pains and diarrhea since he was 14 years old. He is 16 now. Finally got the doctor tod run the right tests last year and found out his gall bladder was no good and had it removed that summer. After the surgery he did ok for maybe a week and them he was vomiting and diarrhea after everything he ate and drank and very bad pains again. My friend who had her gall bladder out said to tell the GI doctor its bile reflux. He is on medication for that. Was doing great and was able to back to school this year. He hasn't been to school this entire month. He has horrible diarrhea and severe abdominal pain again. Immodium isn't helping. He says he feels like he is dying with the pain. He says it urts to eat. Doctor says it's IBS now. That's what they say when they don't know what's wrong.
Did you have him tested for Celiac disease? My son has that, with similar symptoms.

My son was tested when he first started having the problems 2 years ago before he had surgery. They tested him for so many things before his surgery. A year after his surgery he is in worse pain than before. Tomorrow he goes back to the GI doctor, they better start doing some tests. Right now they labled him with IBS. I know something else must be wrong. He can't eat or drink anything right now without pain. Even when he is not eating or drinking he is in so much pain. He is afraid to eat and drink now. It's so frustrating. He has missed the entire month of school, he can't function, between the pain and diarrhea.

my fiance had similar problems, diagnosed lactose intolerance, sever pains and diarrhea all the time. Took them years to diagnose that and I still don't think its right because it doesn't matter what we eat.... fiance has no life either, hard to work when you are in paid or running for the bathroom all the time. Also because this has gone on for years there is intense anxiety about the whole thing, can't go anywhere unless there are bathrooms and no lines. I think its why she puts up with my crazy chickens and pigs

I am really not sure who is laying that, If I had to guess, I have a Speckled Sussex, she is laying smaller eggs, I only know that because she won't laying in the nest boxes, she gets out of the "Pen area/coop" and goes and laying her eggs in the Bag of pine shavings I use for the bedding in the nest box she wont use! Silly chicken.

The others are 3 RIRs, they lay the all around brown eggs.
2 EEs, they lay the light green egg
2, FBCM, that are laying the 1 Dark Egg with Spots, and that Dark Olive egg. I think, I don't htink my Lang/Orp mix would lay those?
I have a Brahma, but I don't think she is laying yet, what color are thier eggs? LOL
A blue Maran, also not laying
My older girls haven't started laying again yet, they are just coming out of their Molt, Orpingtons, BLRW
Then I have my Twins, Flora and Fauna, they are blue Orpington/Lanshan Mix, They might be laying if not any day.. (Birthdays are April 20th) ( I thought they would have a light pinkish egg, but thought that might be a bigger egg, not small like the ones in the pic.)

How many is that? HAHA!! then I have 7 chicks, they aren't laying, HA!

Question, when do you move the Mama away from the chicks?

Rose. you have a very nice egg basket there...I like the green egg

Stake. that is correct. wing has corn, wheat, straw, chicken, duck, quail,,occasionally other items available....all are welcome to stop by.

Danielle, isn't it amazing that they prefer to play with everyday items instead of the toys that you buy....cherish that time, they grow so fast...I know this is not politically correct but my 4 year old granddaughter can not say quail,,,she tells people that I have querrs in a pen,,,,I get some strange looks over that.

Barbie hang in there....it took them 5 years to give me a diagnosis,,,I was told at one point that it was all in my head, even with swollen red joints...I had given up... it was a student intern that finally ran the right test.....

This is my suggestion...If at all possible deal with a teaching hospital. The interns are freshest on the strange and unusual book learning and they aren't entrenched in a 'usual testing' mentality. Seems like the older a doctor gets the less they stray from their normal 'comfort zone'.

Where is a teaching hospital? I will be happy with any tests right now. This is our 2nd GI doctor we are dealing with. I say I wish there was a Dr. House and my son says I don't, he usually almost kills his patiences before they get better lol. Then I tell him I will find a psychic to tell me what's wrong , he gets mad. I tell him I'll do anything to make him better!
