Good morning all:

Was up early but not as early as Blarney....sorry to hear your car is messed up....be careful that you did not mess up your tire too...got the chooks squared away but they are still refusing to play in the snow...and they are getting testy being cooped up....

got a nice email last night from the woman who adopted my foster pooch....kinda satisfying to know my girl is settling in nicely at her new home...

Oh man...Hope you are okay Blarney!! So sorry to hear your vehicle is messed up...they are everywhere here...the hunters and looking for easy food has them moving a lot.

Daughter, Grand daughter and myself where coming home from Lock Haven Thursday night....and in a large field close to home ..there stands a BUCK!! At least 6 points, as much as we could see to count...we both started laughing..AFTER we passed it ,..thinking that here are all these hunters..and we pass one at 6:30 pm coming home from shopping..it was pitch black of course...
 
Babs is really molting right now..poor girl..it looks like I took a clipper to her head and neck..see looks like one of those naked necks.....she looks like she feels crappy..she is the one on one leg...goofy girl...I guess I would be all poofed up too if I lost half of my feathers.....she is funny looks though...

so I gave them all a bit of dog food(moist) today with their FF..they loved it!! Give'em all a boost of protien!! and I put vit/mins. in with their water.

her neck looks worse than her head...but she has it all tuck in..
They were out for a little today..this morning, but now it is snowing with a purpose..at least 3 inches now..and still coming down steadily.
 
Raining like mad here. Hoping our temps stay up. Our driveway is 1/4 mile long & rutted so bad we have to park at the road & walk back. If temps drop while everything is all wet that walk is gonna become very treacherous.

So sorry about the deer, I've hit a couple and it sucks....glad you are ok but sorry your car took a beating.

Hope everyone was able to stay safe today. We stayed in and did coop chores (though DH did the heavy lifting) and shoveled paths in the snow for the buckeyes , who actually wanted out when it was snowing

(again DH did the heavy stuff) and brought in firewood (yep, DH again).....

So since he's been such a trooper about getting stuck with the heavy lifting since my surgery I made him a chicken pot pie for dinner..... really hit the spot on a cold, snowy day!!
