Sorry!, I don't measure, just about a 1/4 dropper full a few times/day.

Silkiesensation, I hear ya on the treacherous hills, our goats are at the highest point on the property, I actually used a sled to come down the hill tonight after tying down tarps.

I know i am probably a pain how many days did it take for you to see some improvement in her?

Sorry to blow up the thread, my 'multi-quote' is not working for some reason.

Brittany, it took 4 days and she was right as rain! I really didn't think it was working at first and thought I'd need a necropsy, she was lying on her side with her neck stretched out, then, suddenly, on day 3 she was acting normal. Not sure if I'd mentioned earlier, but I also had her in a dog crate inside...so isolated from the flock and warm.

Just thought I'd post my Christmas lights to put everyone in the spirit.

Awesome!!

Last, but most certainly not least…Our Sweet Peach, never too old or weak to rip the trash apart…

A walk with kisses from the Bell

She left us last Monday, and I feel certain that Heaven got another angel… as Michelle says, she was 'a grand old dame'.

Blarneyeggs, the plant in the Longwood pic is Rhus, commonly called Sumac. Rue is a herbaceous perennial (means it dies to the ground completely and you can't see anything this time of year).

Sorry to hear about your dog? How old was she? I always dread losing a dog, even (maybe especially) to old age. It seems unfair that they age faster than us.

Thanks! Peach was 11 years old.

How's the Guinea order coming? Sorry I didn't get back to you, I just can't seem to commit to something new. (although when having wine and surfing e~bay the commitment comes fairly easily…go figure). Ray from PA was interested in one of the blue varieties of Guinea…he doesn't get on this thread very often anymore, but frequents the Marans threads.

We adopted a small dog that was 10. I had a talk with my daughter (21) to make sure she knew he could pass anytime in the next few years, but he is certainly enjoying his "golden years" with us, and that's a consolation. A dog that old is hard to adopt out and could have been put down, which knowing him now, would have been a terrible loss, he is the best possible match for our household.

I went ahead and placed the order for 30 keets, so I get them in the earlier hatches. I plan to sell some of them, free range some, and cage some for next year's breeders.
