sold eggs today for hatching, out of the mixed pen today, so why was I so insistance on seperating breeds,,,,maybe people are finally coming to think that mixed breeds are hardy and good egg layers just like i have said all along....I have more of those on order for the end of the week..

So I changed our little southern york county poultry meet up date so it didn't screw with the HAL's random/funny/contest night ^^

*Heads up! Health Coding does not permit live animals inside the Bill Batemans! Please do not bring live animals into the building. In case of raffle items, arrange transfer with winners after/outside of meeting * Parking lot transfers/swaps/purchases would be doable I think lol I would hate for our group to have to relocate because of a misunderstanding ^^ Thanks in advance

Hey I just found out that Malvern in borough is considering making raising chickens OKAY in their borough.

Stake you gotta check this out.

here is a craiglist post...............that also leads to a facebook page about this project called.........."be a good egg"

It lists some decisions to be made on Tuesday..............maybe we could all check it out and post favorable comments and hopefully other areas might follow suit as well!
