Agree 100% on the wusses. On medical team at work, absolutely hate when I get called for a paper cut our headache! Guess I'm just thick skinned.

My husband hates going to the hospital. One day (before we were married, just dating at the time) he sliced his finger open to the bone and just took some duck tape and wrapped it up and continued to work. I made him to go the hospital to get stitches. Men lol He has rough, calloused working hands. He is always coming home with broken bones or cuts or grinding the tips of his fingers off. I give up trying to get him to the hospital. Fingers are over rated right? lol

DH's favorite is electrical tape.... I just tell him as long as it's clean it is up to him what else he wants to do with it. I don't worry too much as long as the tetnus it up to date. And he got one of those the last time he buried a fish hook into a finger and had to have it cut out.

needing to seperate ducklings from chicks a little better....

keep in mind that I am that little kid with their first hammer and nail project, and I am not allowed to use the power tools, and must build this ou of the scrap pile....


I am thinking something along the lines of a rabbit hutch style thing, with a small pan or tub in  dropped in the outside screen somehow (for drinking and swimming)   how would i support this tub...

hubby says no more building projects, I must learn to do them myself,,,he always pops in to help but insist I try.........SO HHHEEELLPPP!!!

After doing ducklings now for the 2nd year my thoughts on the perfect brooder would be an old bath tub. Its a good thing I don't have a place to put one.

I shouldn't say this, but sometimes I am a cynical and very judgmental person. I dare be in this case because I know her and if you knew her and the BS she pulls on my great grandfather (yes, the 95yr old just diagnosed with cancer through his body), you would understand. That being said, here's my snide remark...

If my 2nd cousin has anything to say about it, she'll have that number to 5% the way she's going.

Here I thought tending to a trio of wyandottes, 6 CXs and a buff orp was a struggle lol! When do you process your meat birds by the way? I'm getting ready to do mine soon for the first time. I really hope I can do it.
