That's why I sent her the ducky last year. Very easy to care for that 1. Just dust it occasionally.

Ahhhh, just had a litter of California/new Zealand last week, but I am way east (Harrisburg/ Lancaster).
If you decide to visit Amish country in about two months, they'll be ready
I just started breeding and not everything is of breeding age yet, so only scattered litters at the moment.

Took this on Tuesday. They were 4 days old. I thought there were 5, but in pretty sure there are more, I'll check closer this weekend. Art least I now know my young buck is up to the task. First litter for both parents.

I must admit that hubby is the one that needs stopped right now.
Remember the 37 white rock from TSC, well they moved from my basement to the outside pen last weekend, when I came home from work last night, I found a note attached to my chair that said....went to TSC and they have a large bin of birds left over that are feathering and jumping out, you might want to get the downstairs bin ready.......need to research how many weeks till I can process rocks

He sounds like a keeper. Last couple of days of chick days at the TSC so soon you won't have to worry about surprises from TSC anymore lmao

Question: I have a mean rooster that I want to process. He is full of hormones right now. Just turned a year old in March and he lost his mind. He flogged me a few times and attacks me through the fence when I am going to take care of the turkeys. He flogged me and bit me on both of my legs and left a bruise. This week we found chicken lice on the chickens and were treating the flock and he bit my hubby and hubby was bleeding. If that was me I would have lost a chunk of flesh, hubby is tougher than I. Here's my question, can I process him now with all the hormones in him or should I wait till the hormones calm down? Do the hormones change the way the meat will taste?

He is a big rooster. I don't want to lose an eye working around in there. He doesn't go after me all the time when I am in the run but I will not deal with this rooster anymore. He needs to go.I love his colors but I hate his attitude towards me. I have another glw rooster that is really nice and his comb is better looking anyway and will be my breeder. They are the same age and he hasn't shown any aggression so far.

So how many have plans for green dragon on Friday,,,,please,,,,,no enabling....I have no space for isolation pens right now.....and hubby will be there, so that helps...usually...

I will be the idiot with either colorful knee high waders on or bright neon green crocks,,,I have no extra shoes right now so it will have to be easily washable shoes....and barely moving due to bloat from eating to much, may just have to wear sweats.

What is the goings on at green dragon?? I have been there a couple times, but it seems as though I may be missing something wonderous?!? Is there a livestock auction?? So. Need. A. Farm.

I would process regardless of age, I do not see any change from hormones, but my research is never very scientific....I have one that needs to go also, he has not drawn blood yet, but I can not trust him.

Livestock auction is in the evening starting at 6.. I think...

just be careful...if you sit with them at auction, they will encourage more animal purchases...just saying...

..and yeah..would LOVE to have that farm too

, although..even in this little yard of mine, I think we are getting close to it!

**Wing- have I told you lately how incredible you are?!... I know HE is extra work, but many other people hear would love the opportunity to have a spouse that is all "gun-ho" about having extras...Hey, how's that fish farm coming?
