Anyone want to take a chance on the east indie eggs, give a holler. May not be pure, that pen has 5 east indie drakes, 2 khaki Campbell drakes, 2 Rouen drakes. But over all the east indies keep to themselves, if you want to take the chance I will keep eggs for you, getting 1 daily.

Sooo tempting, but I'm trying really hard to shutdown the incubator. I would definitely be interested in late winter or springtime.

The last batch of the season is a week old in a Hovabator Genesis at my daughter's house. I stopped by tonight to show my grandsons (2 and 4) how to candle them, they were very excited to see veins forming.

My daughter has a special fondness for baby ducks. The last summer before she was married, she asked to hatch some duck eggs and we had so much fun with those ducklings. Good memories to share with my grandkids.

Happy to say that this little hen is on it's way home with anneintheburbs...she hatched on may 31 from a pen of MF Cochin... not sure where those colors came from..

I think her colors would be considered birchen but I only had the MF in that pen at the time. I do have a birchen rooster though, maybe he was a little sneaky.

wing, I have an identical hen from the eggs I got from you. Another hen is gold where this one is silver. Delightful little things, and one of the hens just started laying about 3 days ago.

You know how confusing the genetics are to me. The Wheaton rooster was so young when he was in that pen,, guess he must be an overachiever. I will desperate the east indies in early spring. Will keep you in mind
