Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

If you get any with traps please tell me how, we have never been able to catch fox with anything other than kill traps, and they are hard for us to use with cats and chickens.

Well:

One day later and the fox was back...he got my GLW....I was up extra early and saw him moving behind my property...I made some noise and he disappeared...I went out and found a feather pile....will be building a secured door on coop #2....don't know if that will help...in the big picture...

I will be putting a 'have a heart' trap out,,,,from some youtubes, you cover the trap with sticks and leaves to totally conceal it...then bait with a can of tuna fish....if the fox sees the trap, he will not enter, if it looks like a burrow they will enter...these traps are not the most successful types...(and I'm not a trapper).....

Hey Pachixmom we are not far from each other. I'm near new stanton

Good afternoon folks:

A while back, somebody mentioned that they often did road trips from the Pittsburgh area back to the Philly area and offered to transport some birds...I forgot who? and found a breeder on the Ohio boarder who may have some hatching eggs...was wondering if the offer is still open??? If so, please PM me

threw the meaties out today, you would have thought we were trying to kill them the way they acted. we put them into the A frame with a heat lamp, still worried about them getting cold even tho they have feathers, they've been in the house.

fisherlady, finally tried that bbq place today, went to uniontown and on the way back stopped, not bad, i like their hot bbq sauce

I'm a fan of the milder sauces, or the spice type wings/dusting.... but that is what is neat about places like that... a choice for everyone!

I've caught fox in a live trap, have-a-heart, using what else but rotisserie chicken legs! You need to set the trap, put sticks over and around it to disquise it and make it look like a whole in the brush. Be sure to toss some leaves in the bottom of it so the fox isn't walking on the wire trap. It's work but it works well. Good luck!

Ugh! I have no idea what virus is going around that decided to hit me this week, but it hit hard.

Recovering now, but I even started home from work a couple days. I haven't felt that bad in years!

Now, if I can figure out where a couple birds get out every day...
