Anybody have experience with moyers red broilers? I just picked a bunch up instead of cx in the mail. I went with Moyer cause I'd rather buy local. Figured I'd try the Reds for a change but I really enjoy eating the cx I raised last year.

Lost a bird the other day to a predator, broadly reason.

I realized it was in front of my game can, so I pulled the card.

Batteries were dead, so I didn't get it, but I checked out the pics from the winter.

Squirrel, rabbit, cat, S.O., possum, fox. The night pic of the fox is cool, if it weren't right next to my coop.

Sorry to hear....just came back in after listening to 'weird sounds' out back...sounded similar to the 'vixens call' a fox calling for its mate(google)....about 100yds off the back corner of my property....

thank you.
Living next to a creek (water supply), woods (shelter), and farm fields (food), animals are a given. I expect losses. Don't like them, but expect them. Neighbor even saw what we believe to be a mink last month. I thought I saw one during a flood last year, as well.

Went into the barn to feed my teenagers only to find they had managed to to the temporary fencing a had them contained in. After rounding them up and resetting the fencing all seems well for now.

Guess it's time for something more secure. At least they stayed in the upstairs portion.
