I'M NOT READY FOR THIS YET.....MAKE IT STOP.....snowed yesterday and frosted last night....thermometer on the back porch said it was about 29 degrees this morning.

Same here on this side of the state. Yesterday afternoon is started raining, then turned to tiny little snowballs, not quite hail, but they bounced like hail. Weird stuff, and coming down like a full-on rainstorm.

I know! The dog was not happy, and almost didn't go out. The roosters were crowing back and forth from inside. They didn't even want to come out. Granted, this is their first cold season. They may be asking each other, "What the heck is this crap?! You check it out!" "No! You check it out!"

I wish we had those things (I know what you're talking about because we've had them before) but we had actual full on SNOWFLAKES fluttering down from up above. Mixed in with the occasional raindrop.

Yea my roo wouldn't shut up yesterday either. I think he was mad at me for leaving them inside.
 
I got pekin eggs if anyone is around Pittsburgh and would like some! I can't hatch them right now, I don't eat them, so I just got egg after egg! Clueless what to do with them. The ducks don't eat them either!!! :idunno

Hard boil them and then mash them up with some feed. Add water to make it soupy and your ducks will love it.
 
We had snow flurries yesterday, no rain mixed in. Everything is frozen out there. It was 26 this morning at the bus stop. It will be a cold day today and a cold night. I hope not as cold as this weekend. My son has a football game tonight and I don't do well in the cold

I don't know about other areas but mine is full of ticks right now. This week I pulled off around 10 from my cat. I lost count. I pulled one out of my neck yesterday. Sigh. My little hoard of chicks aren't getting all the ticks.

Momma Muscovy is sitting on her nest. I wonder how many chicks she has. I was only able to get a peek at one little duckling under her wing.
