That would have been super close, lol. I need to get myself an incubator..

My daughter and I are driving 2 1/2 hours tomorrow for 3 silkie chicks lol. If you're interested in a road trip in a couple weeks, let me know. I could try to meet you a little closer if you wanted.

lol, I drove about an hour and a half for 2 silkies for my kids, because they wanted the "fluffy ones".

But I will def. let you know! Just have to set up shop for them :)

This is a long shot, but I am headed up the northeast extension of the turnpike up to Bradford County the end of the month. @dheltzel May have turkeys hatched by then and I could drop them off on my way up if you'd like.

I would love to take some ! Of course I wouldn't be able to put them in the coop right away anyways, so I have some time to get ready, lol.

Anyone know where to get some turkeys? I can't incubate right now (no incubator at the moment), and I am located in Schuylkill County. I keep looking on craigslist, but most of them are full grown and we are looking for littles ones to raise.

I have poults in Chester County.

you are so much closer, plus I have tow truck drivers in that area, lol. One day I should make them pick them up ! they would love the company, hahaha.

I should have poults all spring, as long as the hens keep laying. I have 9 Midget Whites now and a bunch more eggs incubating. Besides more of the Midget Whites, I have Mottled Black and Royal Palms.

I will have to let you know what breed. Currently we have our flock at my dad's house since he is in the country and we are in a town. He's more of the "I need this breed" person. I could care less. I would just like a more docile breed because my kids love our chickens and pet them all the time. So I could see them doing the same with a turkey.

Just got back from Farm Show, was SO much fun! and soooo crowded. Showmanship with no chickens, odd but good. The kids' knowledge was really tested.
