Welcome from Indiana County!

Ok quick question will my young chicks of allarge hens and all the same breed develope at different rates as far as wing growth, size tail feathers and comb. I have Chicks the same age and breed that look like big sister little sister.

Don't worry,it's normal . My chicks are very different too. I'm pretty sure they're pullets .

Very true. I thought last year was crazy busy, but this year is twice or more - which is a good thing considering I have 3 cabinet incubators going now instead of the 1 I had last year. So far I pulled 154 live chicks from the hatchers in the last 24 hours, and there are still a bunch hatching and drying. I LOVE having all these chicks hatch, it's a good thing I can find homes for them or you can see I'd be over run pretty quickly.

BTW, the Bielefelders are finally laying fertile eggs again. Have 1 chick out of 2 eggs that made it to lockdown. It's a male, but I'm still quite pleased that the period where every egg was clear and nothing made it to lockdown is over.

Now if the new Blue Copper Marans roo can prove himself capable and I start getting fertile eggs from that pen, all will be well.

Congratulations to the great easter hatch. My Rhodefelder looks and acts just like bielefelder so far. Her features look identical to bielefelder chicks. And she has docile and quiet personality as bielefelder . She's a big girl that my son called her gaint. She is very different from Rhodebars .

Thanks Tillypeeps.....and as far as my unknown dark cornish or welummer, I am still unsure but now someone threw out easter egger or Amerucana.

My first guess was easter egger, but you said they didn't have any EE that week, only dark Cornish and welsummer. In these two, she looks like dark Cornish more. I guess time will eventually tell.
