I don't know who I would babysit anyways because I live on a road that has maybe 10-15 houses on and maybe 4 of them has kids and some are old enough they can stay at home be themselves. So I wouldn't be able to do that. That's why I got the silkies but they arnt for money they were to brood my eggs for me.

But now you have to be 16 in order to babysit. It is illegal for a child to be at home alone under the age of 16 as well. If you leave a 12-year-old in the car with a younger child you can be arrested. Someone in the car must be 16 in order for you to be safe. IE, if two kids are left in the car, one must be at least 16.

I have five French white Muscovie ducklings. I am not near you though.

:ep didn't know that about the babysitting.... or that you had to be 16 to be home alone! I still have a few months then to stay at home legally...

Crazy is that I don't have to have a car seat for Duckling. I am not her parent or legal guardian, so I am not required to ever put her in a car seat.
