Hello all, feeling a little anxious. While observing my 6 week old silkies I noticed a bump on the corner of its mouth. Does anyone know what could this be? How do I treat it? And should I quarantine it? It appears to be eating and drinking normally. Thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge. I am greatful to be part of the back yard community.

Could you post a picture? I was reading old forum threads and someone had a similar question and it was actually just a baby-sized waddle. But a picture would help us identify what the bump could be.

Hello, with my short experience raising chickens, it doesn't look like a problem. It doesn't look red or overly swollen. I would keep and eye on it, but if the chick is eating and drinking, i should think you don't need to worry. :)

It's so quiet in my backyard! Somebody "accidentally" drop two chickens in my yard please... Haha!

Someone picked up my coop yesterday, there strong young Ukrakian men. That sucker was heavy!
