Thank you. I'll try to look up the formula for that. I really hope she's going to be ok. I haven't checked on her yet this morning (just woke up). She does have the super dark skin so I doubt I'd be able to see any bruising buy I did feel around and nothing feels broken. It also doesn't look like she's lost much blood but I want the one who found her in the coop so I don't know if there was boys in there or not. Last night, I made her a little capsule out of dollar store baskets, lined the bottom with a towel and put her at the far end of my brooder to keep her warm and keel the babies off of her. I know, not the most quiet place but she felt chilly to me. She been wrapped in a towel since I found her. I showed her to my husband last night when he got home from work and he asked me why I didn't just put her out of her misery. But, he doesn't understand shock at all either. All he sees is a little, injured chicken that can't even move (it was late and she was definitely sleeping).
Everyone keep your fingers crossed for her. If she does make it through, she needs a good name. She's a little lavender silkie.
